Dance! Dance! Dance!
Why dance? Participation in dance is another way to apply movement concepts and skills. It is a way of achieving health-related fitness. Participation in its many forms offers opportunities for life-long physical activity. Dance allows one to interact with others in creative and interesting ways. And, of course, it allows for self-expression through movement. A physical education program that consists of dance, as well as games and gymnastics, gives students a balance of movement experiences.
